I have been an enthusiastic member of the Progress studies movement since just after its announcement in 2019. In fact, if you include the time when I was conducting research for my From Poverty to Progress book series, I was a “member” long before it was even created!
Today’s post is to encourage you to subscribe to other Substack columns that focus on the topic of progress. Below is a partial list of the Substack columns that I know about. I am sure that there are others. I am generally casting a pretty wide net as to what consists of progress.
If you know any other columns that qualify, please respond with a link in the comments. If you are the author on the list, feel free to comment with a one-line summary of the main topic of your column.
If you are a supporter of Progress, please repost this article or create Notes that link to this list so we can get as many people as possible to subscribe!
At the top of the list are Substack columns that have dozens or hundreds of posts on the topic of progress. Towards the bottom are new columns or those that post on the topic less frequently. I also added a brief note on the general focus of the Substack columns.
In addition, I have a list of many other progress-related sites on the internet on my personal website (though I have not curated the list for a few years).
