Tis is the nature of Substack. I have the opposite problem, most of my older stuff was simply not as good. Over time, Risk & Progress has evolved its mission, only reaching its current form about a year ago. Most of my early stuff was transferred from Medium as well, where there was a very different audience. I have steadily been deleting out older essays, editing and revising, and sometimes entirely rewriting them. One of the best things about Substack is that it enables writers to update their content at will. I also spend a significant amount of time updating old posts, particularly adding links to newer articles.
