If implemented, this would be a huge step back from Soft Totalitarianism.
But don’t forget that there is a large percentage of people who do not follow politics closely, and particularly older voters have a hard time coming to grips with the idea that an American government would censor speech so systematically.

I don't think anyone does. The people who claim to doubt it actually approve.
